New York, NY — Four innovative learning products from Pearson are winners in the 2016 Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence. Career and Technology Courses – Business Management and Administration from Connections Education, MyEconLab, WriteToLearn and Q-interactive were all honored in the 34-year-old recognition program. This is WriteToLearn’s third win in this awards program and Q-interactive’s second.
New York, NY — Today Pearson announced new capabilities in WriteToLearn, its award-winning automatically scored, web-based tool for building writing and reading comprehension skills for students in grades 4-12. The personalized assessment and learning solution used in hundreds of schools around the country will now put student performance and usage data in the hands of district administrators, allowing them to learn about the impact that WriteToLearn is having on improving literacy skills.
The annual LEAD Conference gives school and district leaders a chance to share and discuss effective practices happening every day in Tennessee schools. With valuable first-person examples, educators from across the state share their best ideas for preparing Tennessee's students for college and careers. The LEAD Conference will take place Oct. 23-26 at the Music City Center in Nashville with the theme LEADing for Readiness. This year, the breakout sessions will align with the five areas of our strategic plan: early foundations, support educators, bridge to postsecondary, empower districts, and all means all.
